I have followed the instructions from Genesis re: columns but when I paste the code nothing happens. Please advise. The code I am using is

<div class="one-third first">This is an example of a WordPress post, you could edit this to put information about yourself or your site so readers know where you are coming from. You can create as many posts as you like in order to share with your readers what exactly is on your mind.</div>

    Thank you.

I would need a link to see the issue.

Make sure you are entering your code with the “HTML” tab enabled enabled on the page editor.  If the HTML tab is not enabled and the “Visual” tab is still enabled, then the code won’t work.

………The same rule applies here for the forum.  You’ll probably notice that your code didn’t show up correctly.  You have to click the “HTML” tab, add your code, and then highlight that text and click the button at the top of the editor that says “code“.  After you do that, then you can click the “Visual” tab to see how it looks to make sure you did it right.  Sometimes you will have to apply the <code> </code> for each section if you have multiple paragraphs and it doesn’t work right.

Thanks Wes. I did use the html and nothing happened. I have deleted and refreshed and it seems to be working now.
