Hi,
I have already raised this issue at Studio Press with no resolution so thought I would try here. The descriptions I wrote for category and category archives do not show up, and neither does the archive title. I wondered if a plugin might be interfering so I deactivated all of them but saw no change. Does anyone have any idea what might be the problem? Is anyone using category descriptions successfully with Legacy? Studio Press assured me that they work in Legacy, but just wondering.

Not really sure, I personally haven’t used them before. I know it can be done, just not really sure how. http://demo.studiopress.com/genesis/category/category-1
It should be able to work in Legacy, or any Genesis child theme for that matter since there isn’t anything within Legacy that would prevent it from showing.
