      Hi There,

Perhaps a bit of a noob question here… In my dashboard, at themes, Epik is active. Now I see a line which says: “This child theme needs a parent theme, Genesis.”

Underneath, the Genesis theme is visible and there is a possibility to activate it. So I was wondering do I still need to do activate Genesis or is it already working with the Elic Child theme?
I thought I had the Genesis framework, but it has been quite a while since I opened my admin and the fact that it says “activate” confuses me… How can I see if the Genesis framework is in use?
Here is a link to my site, hopefully some one can see:

      Kind regards,

      Joost

All you need to activate is the Epik theme. Just make sure that Genesis is installed since the Child theme (Epik in this case) uses the Parent theme (Genesis) as the framework. So if you have Genesis installed and Epik installed, you would only need to activate Epik.
