Favicon

HI Eric! I tried to respond in the topic I already started but it won’t let me comment again. It says must be logged in even though I am, so I am having to write a new one here.

In regards to the previous conversation, Thank you for the favicon info. I appreciate your suggestion and would like to add my own image in the child theme but do not know where in the coding I go or what I need to put in and/or change. I appreciate your assistance!

You can add your favicon in your child theme folder, replacing the one that exists. I usually use FTP to do it.

I have done this a couple of weeks ago via FTP but it hasn’t appeared yet. I was sure I also deleted the old favicon but that still appears as well.
What could I have missed?

Is it the right file? I think it has to be an .ico file (icon file). There are sites that allow you to convert pngs or jpgs to ico files if you need it.
