Font size gets weird on Internet explorer 8…

On my site Longislandpctechs.com, on the home featured widgets towards the bottom of the site right before the footer, the font looks weird, the title shows smaller and the content shows to be bigger and the alignment is messed up. I would appreciate any help, thanks.

I solved this by adding span style specifying font size and color but the line height between the words is still higher than normal, will wait for someone to post a fix, hopefully. Thank you anyone in advance!
