      Wes,

      i’ve found a couple of threads that talk about removing the posts or front page display on the frontpage as a widget but none of them help me fix this problem. If you follow Appearance> Customize >Front Page Displays – it gives you the option for one or tother but not to turn it off completely.

      I know i have done it for another client but i cant get it to work here… Below is a screen grab of what i mean. Am i missing something?

        That’s a different link, it should be the Front Page Content Settings page.

        Go to Appearance > Customize > Front Page Content Settings and you’ll see the option to hide the content – https://i.imgur.com/umvl7aX.png

        Let me know if that works.

          That Worked. If I wasnt so hypersensitive to criticism I would respond to your post with “Ok, I suck!” but since i am i will go with “Darn, I shoulda seen that.”
