Tagged: Responsive Thumbnail behavior
This screenshot (from the Skope demo site) illustrates what I mean

The responsive behavior in Skope leaves unattractive gaps where thumbnails should be.
I recently bought Skope in order to use it on my site (freewaregenius.com), but wondering if this can be fixed before I take the leap. Thanks.
Yes this can be fixed. Before there were responsive themes, I had the 3rd portfolio item “clear” so that everything under it will start on the next line to keep things separate. When I made the theme responsive, I forgot to adjust the code in the portfolio.
This is actually on the list of themes I’ll be updating to add a few more features. I’ll be making it 1152px wide like the recent Genesis themes….I’ll be adding a few more skin colors, updating the font and other things in the css file to get everything to my latest standards. Basically I’ll be creating this same theme from scratch based on the latest Genesis 1.9.2
It will probably be ready in a week or two if you want to wait, or you could go ahead and get started and make the switch whenever the update is ready.
Thanks, this is good news. I hope you finish your updates as soon as possible. We will start to implement and customize on our dev site to gain time.
Ok great! I will anounce when this is done on my twitter accounts – @WesStraham and @appfinite and I will also mention this on the Skope forum.
@ Wes: any info on when the update will be rolling out? Thanks.
Not sure, but hopefully soon. I have a couple themes in front of it, so as soon as those are done I can get started on this one.
I’m kind of limited on time since get a lot of questions on the forum so it’s hard to get things done like I used to…..but hopefully I can get to it soon.
Would it be possible to just come up with a fix for the grouping behavior rather than a big update that handles a lot of issues? This would be a great help that would enable me to launch the new site design. Thanks.
