hi,

although i know a bit of wordpress, i’m kind of lost on how to set up this theme.

      1. how do i set up the theme color i wish? (i can’t see any specific Epik theme settings in my admin panel).

      2. how do i modify the footer so that i can enter my own copyright?

      thanks.

        1. To change the theme color, take look at your Genesis Theme Settings page and you’ll see “Color Style”. This is where you can select between the different color schemes.

        2. To customize the footer take a look at this StudioPress tutorial – http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/footer/. There are many more tutorials/code snippets on the StudioPress site here – http://www.studiopress.com/resources

For theme specific tutorials, take a look here on the Epik forum page at the top – https://appfinite.com/forum/epik-theme-support/

I’ve created a few more general tutorials (works on all themes) here – https://appfinite.com/tutorials/…..I’ll be adding much more to this page in the future.

          Thanks Wes.

Footer customization: I installed “genesis simple edits” plugin. However, what should be entered in “footer credits text” field (on the plugin’s edit page) in order to have a link to my Home page?

Presently, after I modified it, the mentioned field contains the following: Copyright [footer_copyright] My name

Note: i checked all the links you mention but I’m surprised that on Studiopress resources they don’t seem to provide with an answer to such a basic question.

Link to your homepage should be added like this – Home

…there’s a couple examples on the StudioPress link
