While I was changing the contact form page, I realized that the image in evidence can no longer be removed.
If I try to remove it, the image remains on the article or on the page. At most I can replace it with another image or delete the same image from the media folder.
Even if I delete the picture by the media folder and then I upload in the same folder, the post or the page remember its file name and re-insert in evidence.
Obviously, if I change the image file name, this does not happen anymore.
What should I do?
Do you have a link to this image or page so I can take a look? I’ve never had this happen before, so I’d need to see what it looks like in action in order to see what’s going on.
At this time, the image out of the contact form page should not appear, however it appears.

If I choose a new image, the second appears. If I remove the second image, the site brings up the first (which you can view with the sky and clouds), This only disappears if I cancel it from the media folder.
Never seen that happen before, I’m wondering if it’s a cache issue. Either way, I’ll be able to get it fixed.
I checked the source code from the page and it appears to be your Featured Image. Removing the featured image should remove that image from showing up completely. I’ve never heard of another image appearing in it’s place after removing the first one. I’m interested to see what’s going on.
Is it possible to create a Temporary Login? If so, I can take a quick look at what’s going on, and I’m sure I can get it fixed.
I give you the credentials to WordPress administrator. So we solve the problem faster.
To which email I can send you the data?
Done.
I just logged in to your site and I don’t see how this is happening exactly. I created a Test page here – http://www.marcoasteggiano.com/sample/ and everything works fine. I uploaded a Featured Image and it shows up, and if I delete it it’s removed immediately. For some reason, on this particular page – http://www.marcoasteggiano.com/contact/ The featured image won’t go away.
You can however replace it with another image and it will work. You can also hide the Featured Image using CSS if we’re unable to find out what’s adding that image in the content.
I think there may be another plugin or setting somewhere in your admin that’s adding that image for that particular page. I have tested this on the demo and a couple other sites that use this theme and there were no issues. So that’s why I think you may have a plugin or something that is adding that image on that page.
You should be able to recreate the page if you need to.
It is an idea.
Thanks so much.
Good.
Thanks again.
