      Hi — I am working local now with the Epik theme but I am trying to prepare a video tutorial site. The problem I am having is that when I make a post and paste in the URL from my YouTube channel, the video displays fine but when I put these posts in a featured area or in the portfolio page, only the URL for the video is displayed instead of the video. If I then click on the Read More link, the video displays fine along with the rest of the text.

      Although I am working on the Epik theme, I’m not sure this is a problem specific to the Epik theme because I have the same problem on the Eleven40 Pro theme where the video displays fine in the first post which displays the full content but then as the posts get pushed down into the grid under the main post, the same problem occurs so it may be something related to the Genesis framework itself but I can’t figure it out. Any help you can offer would be much appreciated.

        This isn’t an Epik or Genesis issue or anything, it’s just the way WordPress is setup. WP only allows you to add a featured image. So when you’re looking at a blog or the portfolio page it only uses your featured images at the top. Videos only show up in the content.
