HTTPS – unsecure elements break the design

I’m running my site on https.

After switching from Metro Pro Theme (Studiopress) to Adapt, the site-layout is broken due to some insecure elements when loading it in the latest version of Firefox (or Chrome).

Can you help me to fix the links or sort this out?

What elements are insecure? I didn’t know a child theme would affect this. Are you sure you have the latest version of Genesis and WordPress installed?

Take a look at this:

I assume that you (or Genesis) are using absolute instead of relative links. Any chance to fix this?

Those links are coming from your plugins and other parts of your WP installation, not the child theme. The child theme just handles the design, Genesis is what provides all of the code, markup, etc.

I’m not sure what to tell you since I’m not an expert with this, but if anyone else out there can assist please let us know.

I solved the issue. Main problem was a misconfiguration of W3 Total Cache.

Now everythings runs smoothly.
