      Hi,

      I did remove the Legacy Color Styles, Red, Blue, etc from the css stylesheet by simply selecting & deleting but they showed up again. I didn’t know why, but today I discovered this code in the php.functions file and thought, maybe this has to be removed too. So this following heading from the php file shows all the Legacy options…can I safely remove this color code and then remove the color coding in the css?

      /** Create additional color style options */

      If I can remove it, do I simply select and delete? I don’t want to crash the site, but I have this idea that removal might lighten the code-load a bit. If this is a ‘dumb’ idea, you can tell me that too. I’d appreciate it…

        You probably didn’t remove it all. They are located in the main css and both responsive css sections. Once you remove it there is no way it will comeback. Css files are 100% controlled by you, just like a text file. They don’t have any abilities to operate or make decisions on their own or anything like that.

        You can remove it all if you want, but it won’t make any difference to your load times.

          Hi Eric,

          “You probably didn’t remove it all.” – I did leave the Silver one in and that may have caused them to return. Today I carefully checked both Mobile sections and found nary a word re: Legacy Color Styles. So then I removed all colors including the Silver Style and after open/close the site, they’re gone. I did, for reference purposes, copy/paste the Silver into the Legacy Notebook I’m authoring re: all the changes…just in case. You never know!
