      I know this is an unusual question, considering that Studio Press and Appfinite themes are awesome As Is and should not be changed to a design so far removed from what it started out to be.  I’ve been looking at various WP themes all day and cannot find one that I trust as much as Genesis framework that looks like what I need it to look like.  In this case, it has to look like this one: http://www.beaconpointewai.com

      I’m up against a VERY tight deadline (project must be completed this weekend) and I’ve been unable to get any of the SP or Appfimite themes (Optimal’s the one I’m working on right now) to get the MUST HAVES end result they’re demanding; That ugly ribbon shadow-box around a drop-down navigation, the drop shadow around the entire site, AND the 3 featured pages below their welcome message.  I tried using Featured Page widget below the Welcome, but the text is taking on the same script font I’m using in the Welcome message.  As much as I hate that Beacon Point design, they want their site to look just like that — with the exception of the bottom of the page.  For that, they want 1 narrow box on the left, one wide box (would take up the 2 columns) on the right for a slider.   I’m currently on their 4th revision and this project must be ready for review by Sunday and completed by Wednesday.

      Can anyone advice on how I can get that drop shadow around the entire site, and have 3 paragraphs below the Welcome box in the Optimal theme?  Currently, my drop shadows are going around each section individually: Header, Slider, Welcome, and then the content area.

        To be honest, my answer would be the same as the one already given here by Eric – https://appfinite.com/topic/need-to-add-drop-shadow-around-wrap/ (since it appears to be the same question).

        I would recommend hiring someone to get this all done for you. Usually I can help out with the code (if it’s simple), but these particular customization requests actually go beyond the scope of support. There would be a lot of code to create and adjust. If you don’t want to do that, then I’d recommend double checking your code if it’s not working. The link posted on the other thread should be helpful as it is the correct way to do it.

        If you do decide to hire someone, I can help if you want. Just let me know ahead of time.

          Hi Wes,

          Yes; I get confused as to which support forum I’m signing into and ended up posted on SP when I wanted your forum.  Sorry for the duplicate.

          This project started out so simple.  Then too many people got involved.  Now it’s a nightmare.  As for letting you know ahead of time, as mentioned in the other topic, I have to get this done by Sunday.  At one point, I WAS a week ahead of schedule with this.  Now I’m a week behind.
