      I moved it from one host to another and initially we had some improvement but it still spikes to over 3 seconds. It is because of the graphic-heavy theme? I’m not sure if this is relevant, but trying to find answers.

        The Epik theme itself doesn’t have any graphics/images, it’s all css being used to handle the colors, so I doubt that’s it….unless you’ve added images in your widget areas/content areas. It’s still not supposed to be slow, but that really just depends on your host. I’ve had this theme with a lot of images on a good host and it loaded fine. It even loads fine on a “slower” host that I’ve seen someone using.

          Thanks for confirming that it isn’t the theme. I have added quite a few images, but it loaded faster on my test server. The client really loves it and I’m proud of it as well so I’ll have to see what the hosting company can do. This is the second Appfinite theme I’ve used for a client and they’re both extremely happy with the results. Keep ’em coming, Wes.

            That’s good to hear! Hopefully the performance thing is an easy fix.

            Make sure and send me any of the designs you come up with so I can add it to the showcase that’s coming soon.
