Opt in form

I am trying to add the opt in form on page 1 name, email, etc. I get it to come up but the name field and the email field span the width of the page. I would like it to look more like the demo opt in. Small boxes, not all the way across the page. I use mailchimp. Forgive my ignorance as I am very new to this and trying to figure it all out. Should I use a different plugin/widget?

Yes you can send a screenshot, but a link always works best so I can look at the code to see what the issues are.

Are you using the Genesis Enews plugin? That’s what I’m using in the demo.

How do I upload a screenshot?

I was using Genesis Enews plugin but no opt in box showed up so I downloaded the mailchimp plugin, added the code and I now have opt in boxes, though like I said it spans the whole page. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

I decided to go another route. Added a button that links to a sign up page.

Great. If you ever want to use the Genesis Enews plugin in the future there are tutorials out there that will help you get it setup with Mailchimp. Just do a Google search for “genesis enews mailchimp” and you’ll see a bunch pop up.

The Enews plugin should work fine, I’d give it another try if you want the same look as the demo.
