portfolio shows too much

      I set up my portfolio and chose to display 30 characters. It shows a lot more than that. I’ve tried other settings but still getting way too much of the portfolio item. I just want to see a few lines. Also my first post is a tiny bit longer and keeps another post from dropping in underneath. Don’t know why.

        Add this to your .css

        .portfolio-clear-2 {
        clear: both;
        }

        On my site, I have the number to show set at “8”

        Display “POST CONTENT”
        Limit content to 160 characters

        Clear your cache.

          Thanks for the help. I thought I was supposed to choose Post Excerpts? I switched to Post Content and it limits the characters like I wanted it. I didn’t even add the CSS, I did but it worked with or without it. What does that do?

          So it looks much closer to what I want now. Any idea why one will occasionally include one more line of text and be longer. Picture looks same size, title takes up two lines, but there’s one more line of text. I’d love a perfectly uniform look as I see in most portfolios.
