CustomerHi,
I would like to use the portfolio template to all pages in my site: category page, tag page, etc…
How can I do this?

CustomerThe portfolio template is designed to only show posts – https://appfinite.com/tutorials/ It’s not setup to show pages. I’d recommend searching the WP repository for a more complex Portfolio plugin that has the options you’re looking for.
I’m not quite understanding what you’re trying to ask, there appears to be some errors in your text…..so if you’re referring to something different than what I’m talking about, please let me know.

CustomerNone of those links worked for some reason.
But I think I understand what you’re asking now. If you’re asking how to turn a category or tag page into a portfolio layout, you would have to create a template in order to do that….or you could redesign those pages with css so they show up in a portfolio layout. There isn’t a “quick” or easy way to do it unfortunately since it requires creating custom code specifically for those particular pages.

CustomerYes @Eric, I would need to do that. Maybe I can modify index.php and add code from portfolio.php. There is a way to do it?
Thanks

CustomerI’m not sure if that’s the way to do it or not, but I would recommend you google how to create a custom category and tag page template.
I honestly don’t think this will be easy to do since there is so much code that would be needed….if it were me, I would just hire a developer to do it if there isn’t an easy way. Or just create custom css for those specific pages (if you know how).

CustomerI’m unable to take any more projects at the moment since I’m backed up. You can reach out to Wes through the contact form if you want. I know he’s busy working on redeveloping the themes here, but it’s worth a try.
