Hi guys,
I have the opposite issue most people do – I’m wondering how to use the prettyPhoto slideshow effect with a regular old WordPress gallery in a post? I know I could probably just do the query_args and cat=”ID” in the custom fields and make a ton of portfolio pages, but that would require my client to make a single post for every photograph he has, when a single post would suffice/be preferable. I’m not talking about having the portfolio thumbnail open into a slider of post images rather than going through the portfolio images. I did find a plugin but it doesn’t work for galleries, from what I can tell support looks nonexistent, and you have to specify “rel” in the image links, but there’s no place in the uploader to do that when you’re creating a gallery (at least not from existing images). Just trying to simplify the process for client once I hand him the keys.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Unfortunately I can’t think of any easy ways to do this. The only thing we can recommend is to continue searching for a plugin that can handle it since that’s the ideal way of adding something like this to the theme.
