I just spent 2 hours with tech support with Bluehost to try and resolve an issue I’m having with my site, http://www.protectingcyberkids.com, but we weren’t able to fix it. At the end of October, I upgraded to the latest version of WordPress (3.7.1). I’m still in the process of working on my site and haven’t done any work on it for a while. So it wasn’t until a few days ago when I pulled up the site that I noticed the home page image was missing (although the text boxes show) and all of the images on my Education page. I had a programmer make custom changes to this theme (Ally) in the stylesheet and everything was working fine. I noticed tonight on the dashboard in the Themes Appearance section there is a message that says:

      Broken Themes

The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

      Name Description
      __MACOSX Stylesheet is missing.

I am wondering if something happened to the theme and the stylesheet after I downloaded this last version of WordPress. When I look at the Ally theme on my site, I see the stylesheet and all of the custom changes in this file, so I don’t understand why I’m getting this error message.

I am at a lost of what to do and would appreciate any advice you have to resolve this issue. I was hoping to launch this site next week but can’t do this unless I rectify this problem.

Thanks so much for your help.

I’m sure it’s based on how everything was installed. Did you install both the theme and the slider at the same time? Were they both in the same zip file? If so, you’ll probably need to unzip the slider from the main zip…..this is only if you’re using the older version of this theme. The new version I have it setup where you can download the theme and slider separately so you won’t have to unzip the theme. You will however need to unzip the slider since it contains documentation and other files inside.
