When i add a slider widget, it all looks fine in FF. However, in IE the slider background is a dark blue and looks bad. You can see it here.

Yes, I just saw this yesterday and decided to remove Microsoft’s gradient code for css, since it clearly won’t work for us due to its inconsistency (as usual).
Take a look at the demo and let me know how that looks on your screen – http://demo.appfinite.com/ally
I removed Microsofts gradient css code for now…..and I may add an update so that it shows an image instead of the gradient css. I haven’t decided what I’ll do just yet.
For now, it won’t show a background on the slider when viewed in IE.
Let me know if you have any thoughts on this
I just made that update to remove the microsoft gradients from showing in IE, so you can go to your account page and re-download if you need to.
Thanks for doing that. I have uploaded the revisions and that fixed the background. But, when you look at the excerpt in IE, it does not look right. It is fuzzy and not crisp. It looks great in FF. Is there anyway to address that?
Which excerpt? Do you have a link?
Sorry about being unclear. Look at testmonkey.info on the home page. You will see the excerpt being pulled from the post onto the home page. It is blurry and not crisp, like it is in FF
It looks fine on my end.
Keep in mind that IE renders font differently than other browsers, and there is usually a noticeable difference. IE/Windows is the worst at displaying fonts correctly, its not really something that can be fixed since this is just the way IE works.
Just so I can see, is there a way you can upload a screenshot? If you need a site to upload it with, I use this one – imgur.com
