HI there. Loving your theme! We are about ready to go live but still having issues w/the slider. For some reason it keeps pushing to the left. We have tried regenerating thumbnails, different sizes of images, changing settings in Genesis Responsive slider and are at a loss for how to fix? Is there a known bug with this as I see others having the same challenge?

We would also like to eventually set it as a full width slider but for now just want to get it working standard.

Any help you can offer will be much appreciated.

    Thx!

Okay – go figure we ask for help & it’s magically fixed! ha ha

Looks like we still had a width of 1700 hanging on in the code after we regenerated thumbnails. Changed it back to 1152 and it’s fixed.

I am curious why we were having problems with the push to the left? Will it cause problems if we change the size of the slider? If we want the slider images to be larger or to be full width what are the best practices you suggest with your theme and the genesis responsive slider working together?

That’s just the way the slider is setup, it doesn’t really have anything to do with the theme. If you have a small image that is half the size of your slider settings (for example) then it will float to the left in some cases. I’d recommend just adding an image that is the same size as your slider settings width, and then run the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin if you need to.

Awesome! Thats good to hear! I’m happy that you are using my theme.

I just saw your site from the other thread and it looks very good. I’ll definitely add it to the showcase whenever I get it setup.
