Tagged: responsive video
Hey there – so far I’m quite happy with using the Epik theme. It mostly looks very nice in all sizes. I’m just having trouble in one area. I’ve embedded a youtube video into a homepage widget and can’t seem to keep it from overlapping text content when the window size is adjusted to a fairly skinny view. Currently I am using feature-left and feature-right but have also tried align-left and align-right, tried adding video-container as a class and have also tried using a shortcode to make the iframe responsive. There doesn’t seem to be as much of an issue when the content is on the left and the video is on the right.
Any other suggestions?
The site is http://matthewhooks.com and I am specifically having issue with the video with “Lead Gen for Real Estate” content.
Have you made adjustments to your css file? If not, then I’d recommend you update to the latest version of Genesis 2.0 and Epik 1.3. Right now you’re using 1.2. If you have made changes already, then don’t update Epik or it will overwrite your files. Let me know and then I can tell you what you’ll need to do next.

I made a couple small changes to functions.php but not to the CSS. I’ve looked but can’t seem to find how to update to 1.3…I must be missing something obvious.
To update just redownload the theme. If you’ve purchased from here its in your account page, if you purchased from StudioPress then it’s in your account page there.
