This is a beautiful theme. And I understand the advantages you explain in your thinking.
I did, however, think I was buying a theme and while I wish I was a coder, I am not. What you outline as taking “10 minutes” will take me hours on end to create and I thought this was done already. I have built many decent sites (WordPress, Genesis, and Appfinite) without playing with snippets and adding code so I am going to give this my best shot but maybe this theme should have come with a warning. I suspect this theme is actually more powerful and a great value for someone that knows code, not as great a fit for me. Regrettably I have already shared it with a client and need to stay the course. Certainly the Legacy theme you created was easy design work for me. This is different.
I may need to hire you for that 10 minutes of work to save me the hours. I always appreciate your support and quality products.
