Both themes use the following plugins:
Genesis Featured Widget Amplified
Genesis Simple Edits
Gravity Forms
At first I thought it was from flipping back and forth, but the fact that my client reported it was on all pages makes that unlikely. I’m leaning towards Simple Edits
I saw that, yes. Bummer. I was hoping since that post was way back in March, that the issue had been solved by now. Obviously not. Disappointing. I’ll have multiple portfolios too so the widget solution just not feasible.
… Just answered my own question when I read the documentation. This is the file you can upload using the plugin installer:
layersliderwp-3.6.1.installable.zip, but you have to unzip the theme, and then unzip the zipped plug-in to reach it.
hmmm. OK, there are two more zip files inside the zipped plugin (nested zip files have caused problems for me in the past). What are these? Should I just unzip those and include within the Layer-Slider directory when I upload?
I’m having the same issue. I unzipped the theme, removed the Layer Slider (which is a whopping 8 mb) then re-zipped. The theme uploaded fine. I then tried to upload the layer slider plugin zip separately and got that same darned “do you really want to do this” message. I’m assuming you have demo images which is causing the bulk. I’m gonna unzip the plugin and install via FTP…
Nope. Not just Apple. As I said, it’s the same issue with the Nokia phones (windows). Panels don’t stay open.
Nokia/Windows phones don’t work with it. The dropdowns don’t stay open. My solution for the time being is to remove the dropdowns for the homepage and add them as custom menus to the sidebars. It’s a little clunky, but works.
atouchofsummer, I really appreciate your looking into this. Maybe if we bug wordpress developers enough we can get them to look into it?
Hi Wes,
Believe it or not, I’m a mac user with a windows phone (how technologically bipolar is that?!)
Anyhow, there are emulators out there for the Nokia, though not for my mac. Let me know if you hear anything more on this.
Your themes are lovely, btw.

Thanks Wes. So Android device doesn’t work either? Or Android works like iPhone? Sorry. I’m not clear. Wes, do you work for Appfinite? Any chance they are working on a fix for good ole IE?
Hmmm…. Looks like it’s a platform issues. Windows strikes again. I am using a nokia/windows phone. The dropdowns done stay open.
