        And if you can help with the loop/error – please do. It seems it hasn’t gone away. If we don’t put a redirect into the htaccess that effetively kills the /blog page (rediverting it somewhere else), then the server gets stuck in a loop supposedly trying to find a page that doesn’t exist, and ultimately crashes.

          Thanks for replying Kronos – if you look at the site demo here http://my.studiopress.com/themes/epik/#demo-full right at the very bottom – is a black widget above the Glossy black footer – the blacks are different. Is there an image perhaps being used in the footer (which is part of genesis rather than epik I understand). Thanks again. P

            Thank you so much Eric. I’ve found them, and they’re in! Just got to work out where to put the logo and we can go live. This is a really great design and relatively easy for a newbie to find the places in the epic css to tweak little bits and pieces too! BTW – have you seen a nice utilisation of a logo – at a reasonable size…not just squeezed up into the (relatively thin) top widget? Best. P
