There are a lot of posts here in the forums that explain how to do it. Check out this one – https://appfinite.com/topic/responsive-header/ and that should point you in the right direction. If you need more, just do a search on the main forum page.

Actually, StudioPress has plenty of tutorials and documentation (including videos) on how to setup all of the basics. There is no reason for him to add the exact same tutorials and code snippets if they already exist on StudioPress. If you’ve bought the Genesis Framework, then obviously you came from StudioPress. Especially if you’re using Legacy since you need Genesis to use any of Appfinite’s themes. My guess is, you didn’t look or search for it….or maybe you missed it 馃槈

Wes adds the tutorials that are specific to his themes, anything beyond that can easily be found on StudioPress (the way it should be). That is the reason you don’t see a ton of documentation on Genesis here, it’s simply not needed. This is a third party site that makes extensions for StudioPress……this is not StudioPress. If theres something you can’t find in a tutorial, or a forum, then search Google before you post. There are plenty of places that you can easily get your questions answered as there are tons of people using Genesis. I’ve found nearly everything I needed by searching.

I’m writing this to help you since you are new (I was not too long ago as well 馃檪 ) and hopefully it will help anyone else that sees this or makes the same mistake. The point I’m making is that people should search StudioPress for documentation for the Genesis framework since they are the people who created it. This isn’t Wes’ responsibility since he didn’t create the framework.

I hope this was helpful 馃檪

“and yet another question (this 1question/1thread policy is gonna drive you nuts”

Honestly, if you plan to ask a lot of questions, then I would HIGHLY recommend hiring someone to speed up everything for you. This could all be finished for you in less than a day or two. Keep in mind, these forums are ran mostly by Wes who takes the time out of his day to answer nearly ALL of the questions by himself…..and there are a lot of people asking questions! It’s always good to be considerate of the other persons time (mainly Wes), especially since he’s doing this all for free.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t post questions (that’s what the forum is for obviously) I’m just saying this because I’ve seen some people misuse the forum (very demanding, high expectations, impatient and rude). The crazy thing about this, is that these same people are being paid by a client while the forum moderators like Wes (and Eric) are taking a lot of time out their day to help out as much as they can for FREE!

I think people forget that they are getting quality support for free while they themselves are getting paid to have someone else answer their questions.

But of course these are all just my views as a loyal customer. If you guys have a way to donate, I’ll be the first to do so to show that I appreciate everything you’ve done!
