Hi there.
How do I remove a featured image from my pages but not my posts? My images are displaying twice on my pages and I have no ability to edit the placement of the one showing up as ‘featured’.
Thanks.
Also, still am unclear about how to patch the front-page.php file above. I know how to access this file, but is there a new line of code to stick in there? How exactly do I replace the old with the new?
I’m not seeing the front-page.php fix that you are referring to when I visit that link. Can you provide it here for me? Thanks.
Hi Wes,
I added you as an admin. I don’t see the message in this thread where I let you know. I can send the info over again here shortly.
I was hoping you could reduce all the white padding around my top slider on mobile devices (all screen sizes basically), change the mobile header background to white and menu items to black on mobile devices as well (tablets and phones).
Also is it safe for me to install the latest Genesis theme update?
Thanks,
Stephanie
Hi, I am not having any luck with reducing space above and below my slider on mobile devices.
I don’t understand what you are referring to in the prior comment with this:
You can add this in the @media only screen and (max-width: 550px) { or whichever width you prefer.
Add what in the @media only screen and (max-width: 550px) ??
Also, I changed the menu background color as instructed in the responsive section but it’s still black.
Thanks!
I basically had to create a new homepage so all is well. I have just TWO small issues left: Any way to reduce padding around my slider in the mobile view? And change the black header background to white? My site is live now: http://www.stephaniesammons.com if you want to take a look.
Thanks.
Hey there, it looks like Slider Revolution is going to work great for me. However, it appears that the theme’s CSS parameters are overriding my slide text and button design when I add the my slide to the Front Page 1 widget section. How do I disable that or keep it from happening?
awesome thanks!
I figured the button issue out. I just created a new button class with the text color and background I wanted.
I still don’t know how to reduce the top or bottom padding in one of the homepage widgets. If you could just point me to where that would be in the CSS that would be helpful?
My site is a staging site and there are like two layers to get to it.
Thanks!
Steph
Here is a short GIF you can view which highlights the areas in question:
1)I want to change the purple text on the button that I highlight to white text
2)The next section I highlight on the homepage has too much padding. I want to shrink the top/bottom of this widget area if possible.
Thanks.
Ok but I wanted to change the TEXT on the button to white not the actual button color.
