Wow, thank you Wes. I spent hours trying to figure out where this was being generated to the point of deleting it from the functions.php file with no success.
OK, I’ve managed to replicate the theme demo with Front Page Widget 13 settings but it’s still showing a duplicate, “latest from the blog” with the same two posts below it as you can see in the image below.
If I change the Reading Settings from “Front page displays: Latest posts” to Static page and select the Home page, I’m left with the word HOME in that section. Obviously, it’s not that way in the demo.
What am I doing wrong here?
Thank you. That worked. I’d actually done that previously and it wasn’t “working”. I now realize that Chrome was simply caching it and it wasn’t what was actually live.
That’s the problem. It’s not doing what Parallax Pro does at all on mobile.
Have a look:

Here’s how it looks on my iPad Mini:

Now, take a look at SquareOne on the iMac versus iPad Mini:

I’m going to have to switch the new site over to Parallax Pro until we can get a solution to this because it’s not working properly.
With a mobile responsive website based off of HTML5 and CSS3, the images should resize based on the mobile viewport settings. In some cases, it’s required to setup two different images so you have images that are “Retina Ready” upon resizing.
In this case, the background image resizing is a complete disaster. They need to resize just as the static widget referenced images do so the question is, how do we accomplish that?
I’ve got the same issue with both my site and the demo.
Do we need to change the mobile viewport settings or what?
Really need to get this fixed to launch the site.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
