Sorry if I came across rude/jumpy. Anyway, I will take your suggestions thank you, although I do remember updating themes (maybe they were WordPress default themes) via 1 click.
Hi Wes,
1 – How would I know otherwise if my theme is out of date? I bet most people out there won’t know.
2 – That’s a HORRIBLE option to upgrade, if all customizations will be loss the trouble is immense, and those steps are not helpful at all. I (probably like a lot of users) would need and appreciate step by step instructions, not just general “here is the minimum answer to your question” response.
How do I get a refund? The trouble of your themes are not worth it and I will just stick with StudioPress created themes.
Interesting, it took a while, but updated, is it some sort of caching thing? Thanks for your help so far. I just need to update the theme now I think 馃檪
Hi,
Thanks, I removed “home” and changed the
.header-image #title-area,
.header-image #title, .header-image #title a {
display: block;
float: left;
height: 100px;
overflow: hidden;
padding: 0;
text-indent: -9999px;
width: 400px;
}
To:
.header-image #title-area,
.header-image #title, .header-image #title a {
display: block;
float: left;
height: 100px;
overflow: hidden;
padding: 0;
text-indent: -9999px;
width: 200px;
}
Is there some sort of built in Genesis/Ally caching? My changes do not seem to be reflected on the site (yet).
About the upgrade of the theme, I had no idea there was an upgrade. There is no automated upgrade option in WordPress. Do I need to manually upgrade it? I wasn’t able to find documentation on it.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks for the input, I added that code you suggested under this section:
/* Responsive Design
———————————————————— */
And I uploaded the header image file to the exact specifications of 960×80 but it still pushes the navigation down and it’s not resizing under a mobile device. Any ideas?
