      Thanks for the responses Eric and Trisha.

      Trisha,

      If you take a look at http://imfitover50.com in the primary nav menu you will see a “blog” page and then a couple of portfolio pages “Food Diary” and “Work Log.”

      The “blog” page shows all posts from all categories.

      The “Food Diary” page is a portfolio page showing only the posts for the “Food Diary” category. Today when you select one of those posts it displays the selected post on a page (as it should).

      What I would love to have happen is when you select one the “Food Diary” posts from the portfolio page, not only would the selected post display, but “n” number of older posts in that category would display below the selected post. I would like it to act exactly like a standard blog page but only show the posts in the Food Diary category.

      I hope this is a better explanation 馃檪 please do let me know of you have questions and thanks for looking into this!

        I think the title does not represent my question. I maybe should have titled it, “Can a post page selected from a portfolio page act like a blog page?” Or something like that…Dan

          Hi Eric,

          Yes: http://25f.6cb.myftpupload.com/

          I have made some progress and I am very close. Everything looks perfect when the browser is full screen. When make the browser smaller, the bg scales like I want–so great. The only small issue is, when browser is *not* full screen, a margin appears on the top and bottom. The smaller the browser window, the thicker the top and bottom of the margin.

          Curious if there is a way to get rid of the top and bottom margin, or, is this needed to keep it responsive?

          Thanks,
          Dan

              So, just curious, did I “fix” this the right way? Or, should I have done something different? (I am new to this and maybe a bit paranoid ;’)

                Wes,

                http://25f.6cb.myftpupload.com/

                The slider is fixed as you will see by the change I mentioned above.

                  Ok, I just learned a valuable lesson–flush the cache or changed made to the CSS won’t show up. Wow, I wasted a couple of hours 馃檨

                  Once I changed:

                  a img {
                  margin-bottom: -4px;
                  }

                  to:

                  a img {
                  margin-bottom: 0px;
                  }

                  the slider looks correct.

                  Still wondering if this is the *right* way to fix this problem? Am I potentially messing up other image stuff later?

                  Thanks–Dan
