Thanks for the update, Eric. I agree, messing with these files is beyond my expertise. Thanks for the information and thanks for all your support on the Epic Forum — much appreciated.

          Hi Eric —

Thanks for your follow-up. It looks as though the developers I had who were customizing the theme added some code.

I’m in discussions with Synthesis about how to fix it. Thanks.

In the meantime, can you tell me where to find my .php files. I’m not qualified to mess with them, but I don’t even know where they’re located.

Just trying to learn more about all this.

          Thanks,
          Jamie

            Hi Kronos —

Thanks for your follow-up. It sounds like something that’s a bit beyond my expertise and would also be time-consuming, so I’m going to stick with what I have.

Thank you for your follow-up. I appreciate it.

              Hi Kronos —

Thanks for your answer to my question above. Much appreciated.

Follow-up question — I’ve loaded some content into the home page of my blog which uses the Epik theme. That means when I go in and use the widgets as suggested, I lose all of the content previously included.

You can see what I mean here:
              http://www.60SecondCommunications.com

Is there a way around that? In other words, can I keep the content that’s in there, then add some additional content to one of he widgets to have the widget show up below the existing content?

              Thanks,
              Jamie

Ahhhhh, that worked. Thanks, Konos. Now I’ll go back to the other question you answered and ask my question there.

                Much appreciated!

Update — I think I figured out where the widgets are and how the code would be dropped into the widgets, but now my questions is “How does the widget know where to show up on my home page?” In other words, if I drop some of the code into the widgets, won’t that show up on all the pages? Or is it just designed to show up on the Home page?

                  Thanks.

                    Hi Eric —

Can you send me the name of the Slider Plugin you’re using? I’ve tried using Smart Slider 2 from NextEndWeb which is highly-rated but can’t seem to get it to work with the Epik theme.

Can you let me know the Slider you’re using?

                    Thanks,
                    Jamie
