PLEASE send me a screenshot as to where to find Genesis SEO page under Homepage Settings since it it not obvious. There was nothing changed elsewhere, it was however, the original tag line from a theme previous to Genesis and Epik. Thanks!
I appreciate the continued response. However, the tag line entered in WordPress is “Scott Wachter :: Photographer” not “Sportseye, LLC youth sports and action photos in San Diego and Phoenix” which appears in the browser window. So, I will gladly and eagerly take your advice on Geneis SEO page under Homepage Settings. Sorry, would you please confirm that location, as I have been able to? Thanks again!
Thanks but how might I edit “Sportseye, LLC youth sports and action photos in San Diego and Phoenix” shown at the top of the browser window?
Please note that “Sportseye, LLC” is what I have in “Settings > General” but “Sportseye, LLC youth sports and action photos in San Diego and Phoenix” is live.
Thanks for the quick response! Sorry, this is the code from http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/header/
`//* Modify the header URL
add_filter(‘genesis_seo_title’, ‘custom_seo_title’, 10, 3);
function custom_seo_title($title, $inside, $wrap) {
$inside = sprintf( ‘%s‘, esc_attr( get_bloginfo(‘name’) ), get_bloginfo(‘name’) );
$title = sprintf(‘<%s id=”title”>%s</%s>’, $wrap, $inside, $wrap);
return $title;
}
The issue is that the URL title in the Settings>General section is not controlling the URL title on sportseye.com since it does not match, and has not, since switching to Genesis 😉 Thus, I assumed it was normal in that this page exists:

Thanks again!
Got it. That’s horrible for photographers then. Even when showing features images, two images show at once on the archive pages as on this page:
Thanks Eric! That helps with the archives, by month, like this:
However, when clicking any one of the slider images, the image does not show, like this:
Thanks so much! However, to be clear, I am not expecting the featured images to show up in the blog page. I have images set up on the blog page and they sometimes appear, and sometimes do not, depending on how I click through (archive, from slider, from blog link etc.) and that is what is so strange. It used to. So, I am wondering if a setting had disabled this.
Wow, so sorry! http://sportseye.com
Thanks again! Understood. I will go with 400. Lastly, if I changed the width of the slider to 1152 in the slider settings, and the images after using regen thumbs still do not span the width of the theme, what do you suggest setting the sizes in general settings for media to? Thanks!
Thanks, Wes! I actually had width set to 960 and height to 350, but do not recall where I got those suggestions from. I went ahead and changed the width to 1152, and regenerated thumbnails (had that great plugin). Is there a recommended max height? Thanks!
Interesting enough, I went ahead and downloaded and activated Jetpack by WordPress.com and now the gallery TYPE shows and I am able to create a slideshow. It is strange that Wes was able to do so without JetPack. I wonder if Kronos is also able to do so with or without Jetpack? I assume we are all using WordPress 5.1 as I am. Thanks again to Wes and Kronos!
To add to this, I have done some Google searches on this issue and it seems that others have the similar issue, unrelated to Genesis of course. Some say it was an issue with the most recent WP update and some day Jetpack fixed this. However, it does not make sense as I assume Wes and Kronos are using the latest update as I am. Regardless, I will keep searching and even try the 3.6 beta on a non live/staging site and see if I have success. Thanks again for your support.
Thanks again for chiming in Kronos! I believe I am looking in the correct places. As pointed out on this link, the TYPE does not appear as an option in the CREATE or EDIT gallery areas in sections 7 or 8:
Thanks very much Wes! I do realize that this is a WordPress feature, however it is just strange that is not available. After trying a few different themes, it is still not a gallery option for me, even with WordPress 5.1. I realize this is beyond the scope of this forum and will keep researching the issue.
Thanks very much!
