Hi Wes and Co.
I have fixed it 馃檪
Cheers!
Hi Wes,
I knew it was something very simple, I just have to create some untagged posts with the images I want and then use the IDs of the post to add them to the slider. I will give this a go and if I run into any trouble I will post for help. And if it works I will also post back to let you know we can close this topic.
Cheers,
Thanks Wes,
Now the question is how do I add images into the Genesis Responsive Slider? All I can see in the settings are options to either add information from posts or pages. I know I am missing something very basic..
Thanks!
Tested and it works!
Thanks serenae!
Awesome!
I will give it a shot once I get back home from work.
Thanks for the quick response.
Hi Serenae,
Would like to wrap those two and any other widget I my put on the sidebar. By doing these two I will learn how to do the rest, I assume.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks Eric!
And once again sorry for the trouble.
Hi Eric,
Last attempt this is the URL for the site in question: http://67.20.94.225
If this does not work, then we can close this thread.
Thanks and sorry for the trouble.
Thanks Eric.
I have added the Logo for the website using the appearance -> header settings of WordPress and not as a background. Therefore the media query would not work.
Hi Eric,
Had a typo on my URL. It is: http://67.20.94.225
I am not sure on where in the CSS I need to add the code as indicated in the Studiopress tutorial.
Sorry for the trouble.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Eric,
I have followed the instructions from the Studiopress site and I am not sure where in the CSS file I need to do the changes. I have tried in some areas of the image and header and I am simply breaking things up.
I am new to CSS and most of the things I do are based on trial an error.
I worked a few hours with the Studiopress instructions as per the URL and could not get the result, that’s why I have posted the question.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Wes,
Quick update, I have done the changes as per your notes and got the result I wanted! Thanks once again!
Hi Wes,
Thanks for your response and for providing the guidance around the padding. I am currently going through my learning curve with CSS. I will implement the suggestions and let you know.
Thanks!
Hi Wes,
I have managed to get the different colour working for both the menu to the right of the logo and the menu under the logo. What’s remaining now would be reducing the pace between the bottom section of the logo and the primary nav menu.
Thanks in advance.

Forgot to add the website URL: http://67.20.94.225
Thanks in advance.
Once again! Thanks Eric!
Sorry to jump in this thread, and since it is making reference to the Epik demo homepage. I wanted to know how can I get my title area to have the logo and have the menu next to it? I am currently working locally on my computer, therefore I am unable to share my URL.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Eric! Thanks once again for your help and support.
Sorry for my late reply.
Cheers,
Antxon
Thanks Eric! This is great news!
Will this (adding custom CSS to the bottom of the file) have an impact in the website performance?
Thanks once again!
Hi Eric,
First of all thanks for your response. As you know I am taking baby steps so please bare with me. In regards creating the custom css file, could I copy the entire source CSS file from the theme paste it into my own CSS file and then make the changes that I want? How do I link to it from the style.css? (sorry for the question, like a said this is all new to me 馃檪 ).
Now, with the custom section in the style.css can I simply add all the changes at the end of the file (meaning, beginning my custom section from the last line of the style.css)? Then with a new update I just have to paste all my CSS to the end of the new style.css.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Kronos! All sorted, you were spot on! I have played with the theme and a few pages and it is all working just fine! Thanks buddy!
Thanks Kronos.
Now let me see if I am understanding what you said: I have installed the epik theme, then when I go to Genesis-> Theme Settings there is a default layout already selected and it is the Content/Sidebar. Now if I am creating a new page, then I have to go to the Pages – Add Page and once I have added some content, scroll all the way down to the bottom and select which layout I want for that particular page?
Thanks in advance.
