Thanks Wes — I added a custom /page-title structure under Permalink Settings and that seems to have fixed it!
Hmm not sure what happened to the link I noted above!
Yay! Thank you, Wes. All fixed.
Thank you, yes …
Hmm, I’m afraid that didn’t work … I pasted the following at line 1279:
.welcome-wide {
clear: both;
color: #b70072;
}
Any ideas where I’ve gone wrong?
I will for sure, thank you @Wes. If it’s not stretching the friendship too far, I have one outstanding query in the forums re changing the text colour in the Welcome Wide widget. Would you have a moment to address it? Then I’ll be ready to go live! :o)
It’s okay – I removed the

tags and all is fine now.
Thank you again for your patient assistance!
PS The ‘automatically add paragraphs’ box is checked in all three text widgets.
Thanks @Wes. I had thought of that too, but what confused me is that all three footer text widgets are formatted the same as the first one, yet it’s only the first one that loads incorrectly aligned. Footer text widget one reads:

Artemis is a professional consultancy with broad project management experience in all aspects of quality publishing. We offer creative publishing solutions and love what we do — we're confident you will too!

Which bits should I delete — and I assume I should edit the remaining two text widgets to match?
Many thanks,
Susie
Perfect, thank you. :o)
Thanks @Wes. I’m on a deadline to make my site live, so would be most grateful for your assistance. I just have the four problems to sort out and then I’m ready to go live! :o)
Susie
Is anyone able to assist me here?
Many thanks,
Susie
Thank you @hoolamonster. Unfortunately I’m new to all this and am unable to resolve the issue using Firebug as I don’t really know what I’m looking for! :o(
Brilliant, thank you Eric. That worked just fine, except that I now have too much empty space *below* the logo and primary navigation items. Can you please advise me how to reduce this? (And yes, I’m aware that private posts are only viewed by moderators; I mistakenly thought you were one! Apologies.)
Susie
In the meantime I have tried a workaround by increasing the canvas size above my logo in Photoshop, but the logo is now aligning with the top edge of the larger header space rather than the bottom edge. Could you please advise how I reposition the logo to the bottom?
Thank you,
Susie
